About Willens PDTC
Our Mission and Vision
Willens PDTC is committed to providing quality services through practical training and giving
support to famers. Our mission is creating the future of dairy and making it work for everyone.
Seven years ago, Willy Kirwa visited Israel to learn about dairy farming. The good practises he saw
inspired him to change his own farm in Eldoret by implementing what he saw in Israel. At that time he had 10
animals producing 30 litres of milk.
Through breeding and selection the farm increased its herd to 65 high producing
dairy animals of which half is in lactation producing on avarage 15 liters. After a while farmers from his community started visiting his farm for learning. With support from SNV, Willens Farm developed structured one week training for farmers who are in dairy as a business.
Willens PDTC currently trains farmers from various parts of Kenya and even from neigbouring countries.
